Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Lori is the Head of School and CEO at Gray Academy of Jewish Education, a JK - Gr. 12 Jewish Community Day School. She is a proud graduate of the school (Class of ’91) having attending since Nursery and where she began her career as a teacher in 1996. Lori assumed the role of curriculum coordinator, Vice Principal for a decade and Associate Head of School. She celebrates over two decades at Gray Academy.

Lori holds a B.Ed. (English and Judaic Studies) from the University of Winnipeg, a M.Ed. (Administration and Supervision) from Loyola University (Chicago), a Manitoba Education Level I Principal’s Certificate and Level II Administrator’s Certificate. She is a graduate of the Canadian Accredited Independent Schools’ Advanced Leadership Institute (Next Step Program) and the Jewish Theological Seminary’s Day School Training Leadership Institute (New York). Lori is active in the CAIS community having participated in the inaugural CAIS 2051 Project (2015), the most recent Heads Institute and serving on two accreditation teams.
